Accounts Payable Accountant

Job Description
- Process and verify incoming vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving reports.
- Ensure proper approvals and compliance with internal controls.
-Handle payments, including preparation of payment batches and bank transfers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and documentation.
-Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT and WHT.
- Support internal and external audit requirements related to accounts payable.

Job Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2–4 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
-Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
-Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
-Knowledge of tax regulations relevant to vendor payments (VAT, WHT).
-Excellent organizational and time management skills.
-Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external vendors.
Required Skills & Tools:
-Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
-Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP system.
-Familiarity with using modern AI tools in finance or accounting processes.
-Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is highly preferred.
-Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple priorities.
