Expense Tracking: Monitor and document company expenses to ensure they align with budgets and forecasts.
Budget Control: Assist in managing the company’s budget, ensuring proper allocation of funds and identifying areas for cost optimization.
Payroll Processing: Handle payroll, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for all employees, including benefits and bonuses.
Taxation: Manage tax filings and payments, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and deadlines.
Paperwork Management: Take care of necessary paperwork related to taxes, insurance, and other financial documentation.
Financial Reporting: Generate regular financial reports and assist with any audits or compliance checks.
Job Requirements
Proven experience as an accountant, ideally in a tech company, with experience in managing finances for an application-based business.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, payroll systems, and financial reporting.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience with accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred:
Familiarity with the financial intricacies of a fast-growing tech company or app-based business.
Previous experience working in a startup environment or rapidly scaling business.
