Job Description

Inventory Control: Overseeing periodic and annual inventory counts and reconciling them with accounting records. Transaction Recording: Accurately recording all inventory movements, including receipts, disbursements, and internal transfers. Cost Analysis: Calculating the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and analyzing variances in inventory costs. Reporting: Preparing periodic reports on inventory status, such as reports on obsolete and slow-moving items, and inventory aging analysis reports. Accounting Adjustments: Making the necessary accounting adjustments for inventory at the end of each financial period. Policy Implementation: Ensuring compliance with approved accounting policies and procedures for warehouses. Archiving: Filing and archiving all documents related to inventory movements.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Financial Accounting. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of practical experience as an inventory accountant or in a similar position, preferably in the industrial sector.
