Job Description

• Transaction Management: Handle financial transactions related to imports and exports, including customs clearance, duties, and tariffs. • Invoice Verification: Verify and reconcile import/export invoices, ensuring accurate cost allocation and payments. • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to import/export financial transactions. • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual reports on import/export transactions, costs, and financial performance. • Payment Management: Monitor and process payments related to import/export activities, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and partners. • Recordkeeping: Maintain up-to-date records of all import/export financial transactions and supporting documents. • Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth financial operations for international trade. • Customs & Duties: Work closely with customs authorities and logistics providers to manage import/export duties and fees. • Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing for audits related to import/export activities and financial compliance.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in import/export accounting or a related field. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Odoo system is a plus. • Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures. • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (written and verbal). • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think proactively.
