General Accountant 5 to 7 years of accounting experience

Job Description

-Manage and issue electronic invoices in compliance with local tax regulations. -Perform daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance. -Operate and maintain accounting activities using the Odoo system. Record and reconcile online sales transactions from various platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, website). -Monitor and process accounts payable and receivable. -Prepare monthly financial reports, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets. -Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways (e.g., PayPal, Stripe), and POS systems. -Support VAT filings and ensure accurate tax entries. -Assist in the monthly and yearly financial close process. -Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., logistics, customer service) to validate order and payment data.

Job Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. -5 to 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in eCommerce or retail. -Hands-on experience with Odoo is a must. -Strong understanding of electronic invoicing systems and tax regulations. -Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with payment platforms. -Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. -Strong analytical and communication skills. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
