- Issue and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Monitor and follow up on customer payments to ensure timely collection.
- Record and reconcile all accounts receivable transactions in the accounting system.
- Prepare and maintain the Accounts Receivable Aging Report and highlight overdue accounts.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
- Perform monthly reconciliations between customer accounts and company records.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and support internal and external audits.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an AR Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
