- Oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting.
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor accounting team members.
- Work closely with other departments, especially project management and development teams, to ensure accurate reporting and financial analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in real estate.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
