Job Description

1. Accounting Operations: • Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. • Prepare, review, and analyze the trial balance to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Ensure accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. 2. Construction-Specific Accounting: • Apply expertise in construction accounting standards and procedures. • Monitor and analyze project costs, work-in-progress (WIP), and revenue recognition. • Collaborate with project managers to develop and track project progress, budgets, and forecasts. 3. Audit and Compliance: • Support year-end financial audits and ensure compliance with internal and external financial controls. • Ensure adherence to tax laws, VAT, and other construction-related financial regulations. 4. Team Leadership and Development: • Manage and develop the accounting team by setting goals, providing training, and conducting performance reviews. • Foster a culture of adherence to standards and continuous improvement within the team.

Job Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, graduate studies are a plus (MBA, CMA,CPA, etc.) as well as proven management experience. -At least 10 years of progressive experience in construction or trading-related accounting/finance practice. -Excellent knowledge of the construction industry is highly preferred.
