Accountant – Cairo Office

Job Description

-Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports. Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general journal entries. -Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and support in preparing tax filings. -Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as needed. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control activities. -Experience in preparing financial statements and performing reconciliations. Understanding of tax regulations, including VAT, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Tax. -Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. with the subject line “Accountant – Cairo Office”.

Job Requirements

-Strong knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS) and familiarity with IFRS is a plus. -Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or Odoo). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling). -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. -Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience. -Strong communication and organizational skills.
