Finance Manager- Hospitality Sector 5–8 years of progressive finance/accounting experience

Job Description

Financial Management & Reporting Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior management. Prepare management reports, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Budgeting & Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes. Work with department heads (e.g., F&B, Rooms, Spa) to develop accurate revenue and expense forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budget and investigate variances. Cost Control & Profitability Review department-level expenditures and identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Support pricing strategy, inventory control, and procurement processes to optimize profitability. Cash Flow & Working Capital Manage daily cash flow and ensure timely payments to suppliers and staff. Oversee accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Maintain optimal working capital by managing collections and expense cycles. Internal Controls & Compliance Implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets. Ensure compliance with tax laws, hospitality regulations, and internal policies. Support external and internal audits and coordinate necessary documentation. Team Management Lead and mentor finance staff, ensuring professional development and adherence to timelines. Coordinate with HR and department heads for payroll and benefits reconciliation.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (required) Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus Experience: 5–8 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the hospitality industry. Experience working with hotel finance systems . Skills: Strong knowledge of hotel-specific financial practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills
