Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
* Receive and track orders, checking against inventory records to ensure proper stock levels.
* Conduct daily monitoring of stock movement and generate reports of daily inventory adjustments.
* Perform sudden stock takes for the warehouses to verify physical inventory levels.
* Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile inventory records and identify discrepancies.
* Coordinate working orders between all warehouses to optimize stock distribution.
* Monitor inventory levels, plan delivery schedules, and oversee the loading of products.
* Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
* Analyze inventory data and trends to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend actions to minimize inventory holding costs.
* Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Management Information Systems, or Accounting.
Prior work experience as a stock controller , inventory accountant or similar role .
Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with inventory management software, preferably Odoo
Organizational and time management skills.
Unwavering attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Strong report writing and communication skills.
Knowledge of inventory organization
