General Accountant. Experience: 3-5 years

Job Description

Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations, including documentation and presentation of results to management and senior leadership. · Receive and review payment requests for completeness, accuracy of documentation and correct budget line item. · Review cost share documentation received for compliance, completeness and accuracy; enter information into reporting trackers. · Reconcile petty cash accounts to accounting books. · Prepare payments for the payroll tax, social insurance and other statutory withholding requirements. · Process advances and reimbursable expenses to subrecipients in a timely manner. · Respond to requests from other departments. · Prepare daily transactions GL& AP& AR& Fixed Assets. · Ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place for the all department as SOP’s. · Support daily/weekly/monthly accounting activities. · Review all monthly subsidiaries journal entries, account reconciliations · Monitor daily bank balances, cash clearing accounts · Ensure proper implementation of bank transactions and reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis. · Assist accounting manager with monthly and year-end closing activities and accrues expenses and others at the end of the financial year. · Assisting the assistant director in managing short-term investments. · Ensure the outstanding items are identified, communicated, and recognized. · Follow up and prepare accounts reconciliation for outstanding, unreconciled items. · Monitor and develop cash flow statement, balance sheet, and profit & Loss. · Scan and file all accounting documentation on a monthly basis.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Experience in finance and accounting Familiarity with invoicing processes Proficient in Microsoft Excel Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Experience with accounting ERP such as SAP is a plus Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy Experience in the agriculture or Manufactoring industry is a must Ability to work independently and in a team environment Good Arabic/English Language
