Senior Financial Auditor 5–7 years of experience in financial/internal auditing

Job Description

• Lead and execute financial audits to assess the integrity and reliability of financial reporting. • Develop audit programs, define scope, objectives, and timelines for audit projects. • Analyze financial statements and accounting records for compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and company policies. • Identify control deficiencies, financial risks, and irregularities; recommend effective solutions. • Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, risk assessments, and corrective action plans. • Follow up on audit recommendations and ensure timely remediation. • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and regulatory inspections. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and risks. • Assist in the development of annual audit plans and risk assessments. • Mentor and guide junior audit staff during engagements; review their work for accuracy and compliance.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CIA, or CA . • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in financial/internal auditing. • Deep knowledge of audit methodologies, internal control frameworks, and financial reporting standards • Competencies: • Strong analytical and investigative skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • High attention to detail with a strategic mindset • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Strong ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality • Leadership qualities with experience in team supervision
