Manager - Financial Due Diligence

Job Description

Leading a team of 1-3 junior staff per project, independently deliver and manage multiple Transactions Services (TS) engagements throughout the transaction process, and coordinate the work performed by multiple service lines and cross-functional teams. · Ability to write and present due diligence reports with emphasis on articulation of key issues. · Analyze and synthesize target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks which impact valuation and negotiation of the target company. · Create and design tailored transaction advisory reports specific to key issues such as normalized earnings, valuation, achievability of management's budget… etc. · Support partners and senior managers on developing proposals. · Managing day to day coordination / delivery of work products (excel databooks / report drafting). · Responsible for review of junior teamwork products and delivering work product to Engagement Senior Manager. · Understand the key business drivers, identifying key issues and risks / conclusions and providing value to the client through insights, factual conclusions and advice. · Review risk management file including risk management procedures such as Sentinel, local conflict check request and background check.

Job Requirements

· Financial Due Diligence experience of more than 9 years within an accounting practice or corporate finance boutique. · Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. · Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to lead and manage a team. · A degree in Accounting or Finance is expected. · Relevant qualification (such as ESAA, CFA, CPA, ACCA or CMA) with post qualification experience. · Bilingual, strong command of both English and Arabic language. · Business report writing and general IT proficiency.
