Maintaining the billing system, generating invoices and account statements
Performing account reconciliations and resolve clients billing issues
Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
Issuing customer account statements and ensuring consistency and conformity
Overseeing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts data
Overseeing maintenance of historical records by scanning and filing documents
Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and collection performance metrics.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts receivable function.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
Perform other related duties as requested by the company
Job Requirements
7+ years of experience in accounts receivable accounting with at least three years in a supervisory role
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance
DipIFR is a plus
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Familiar with vat
Ability to reflect on one's own work as well as the wider consequences of financial decisions
Organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
