- Make short and long term business planning.
- Analyze new business’ profitability opportunities and its visibility to the whole market.
- Review new business cases and develop their business cases to ensure its viability.
- Prepare the process for preparing financial statements and financial models, including scenario planning.
- Define processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
- Drive and improve existing management reporting to be more accurate and timelier.
- Analyse financial results to determine key takeaways and recommendations for senior management.
- Lead financial modelling and reporting for the general business and/or special projects.
- Partner with IT and the broader organization to improve forecasting through automation and system optimization.
- Lead process & workflow development and the delivering on any digital finance transformation initiatives by identifying areas for technology adoption and streamlining
- Lead financial aspects of the planning cycle: Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan
- Identify and quantify risks and opportunities in current plans and forecasts
- Support decision making by providing management and stakeholders with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights offering visibility on business performance
- Supervises risk assessment reporting regarding reviewing all financial statements, analyzing the variances, and reporting any issues or potential issues to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Supervise the evaluations and assessments of commercial offers, pricing, and repricing as well as campaigns’ evaluations.

The Egyptian German Automotive Company was founded 1996 as a Joint-Venture between Egyptian entrepreneurs and Daimler AG.
Supported by the Egyptian government, EGA built a high-tech plant in the industrial area of 6th of October City, some 30 km southwest of Cairo.
During the following years, EGA managed to achieve sustained growth by extending the model range and sales figures. Starting with the E-class model in 1997 and the C-class followed in 1999 as CKD production and additionally starting 2006 with SKD production for the S-class followed by GLK in 2009
