Bank Account Management:
-Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations.
-Ensure all bank transactions are recorded and matched with bank statements.
-Monitor daily bank balances and cash movements.
Payment & Collection Processing:
-Manage Letters of Credit (LCs) and Letters of Guarantee (LGs).
-Control issued and received cheques and ensure timely collection.
-Execute and follow up on bank transfers (local and international).
Bank Communication:
-Act as the main point of contact with banks regarding facilities, loans, and day-to-day operations.
-Negotiate banking terms, interest rates, and charges to optimize costs.
Reporting:
-Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash position reports.
-Analyse and forecast cash flow to support financial planning.
-Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all bank-related transactions.
Internal Control & Compliance:
-Ensure compliance with the company’s financial policies and procedures.
-Implement and maintain effective controls over treasury and banking activities.
Support Strategic Financial Planning:
-Participate in budgeting and financial planning related to cash and banking.
-Monitor and manage short- and long-term funding requirements.
Job Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a similar banking or treasury role.
-Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
-Advanced Excel skills and analytical capabilities.
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
-Expected to work under tight deadlines and handle high volumes of transactions.
