• Manage full General Ledger activities and ensure accurate posting of daily transactions
• Prepare and submit Tax returns ( VAT, Payroll, Withholding) and liaise with Tax outhorities.
• Coordinate with external auditors and handel audit requirements.
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain complete GL operations
• Oversee Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable cycles
• Review and reconcile AP transactions, vendor accounts, and operator pool balances
• Analyze billers and internal accounts, and handle biller dues issues
• Perform monthly closings, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Review and audit accountants’ transactions across AP, GL, and other accounting modules
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control policies
• Support internal and external audits
• Assist in financial analysis and reporting to management
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 6–10 years of proven experience in General Accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, AP cycle, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems is a strong advantage
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Word & PowerPoint are a plus)
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work on-site
• Cairo residents preferred
