Oversee and manage all aspects of accounting department for Thales KSA entities.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff providing training and support to ensure the team is working on maximum efficiency.
Ensure the timely preparation of financial statements for all entities in scope.
Manage and supervise the different tax compliance filings for the served entities.
Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Approve Complex Journal entries and account reconciliations.
Ensure the accuracy of books and records by analysing and reviewing trial balance as well as drive balance sheet review process and provide remediation and solution.
Work closely with different country finance & project controllers.
Responsible for resolving reporting and closing queries and develop controls to avoid repeated issues.
Job Requirements
At least 7 years of experience with a large sized company, preferably MNC of which last 4 years to be of supervisory role.
Shared Services Experience is preferable.
Experience in regional or head office functions in MNC with ability to communicate with people from different regions.
Ability to take over Business Partner Role
Qualification, Certification & Educational Requirements
Professional certificate is preferred (CPA, CMA, etc.)
Strong knowledge of IFRS
Proficient in SAP
Knowledge of KSA
