Senior General Ledger Accountant 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior

Job Description

Lead preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Review and validate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Supervise junior accountants and ensure compliance and accuracy. Investigate complex reconciliation issues and implement solutions. Support budgeting and track actuals vs. budget. Coordinate with AP, AR, and other finance teams for accurate postings. Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and audit standards. Contribute to automation and continuous process improvements. Liaise with auditors during internal and external audits.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. IFRS certification is a plus. 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role (preferably in the industrial sector). Strong ERP knowledge: Odoo, SAP, or Oracle. Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling. Solid grasp of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and cross-functional communication.
