Job Description

• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs. • Maintain and monitor cost accounting systems and cost ledger accounts. • Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and provide insights into cost-saving opportunities. • Assist in month-end closing activities related to cost accounting. • Develop cost standards for materials, labor, and overhead. • Support inventory valuation and ensure accuracy in stock records. • Collaborate with operations, production, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost allocation. • Prepare profitability analysis by product, department, or project. • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and reporting requirements, especially within the Free Zone framework.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus. • 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
