Job Description

The Senior Accountant is a critical role within our finance department, responsible for managing and executing a comprehensive range of accounting activities. This role encompasses the management of monthly and year-end processes, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and effective collaboration with external auditors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a meticulous approach to financial management, possess strong analytical skills, and have the ability to effectively communicate financial information across departments. Financial Reporting and Reconciliation: • Conduct monthly and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. • Prepare and analyze the monthly trial balance to verify accuracy of accounting entries. • Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. • Analyze monthly bookkeeping records to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement. • Execute monthly bank reconciliations to verify transaction accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Payroll and Costing: • Prepare monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with tax and employment regulations. • Oversee shipments costing preparation, accurately reflecting logistics expenses in financial records. Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: • Conduct accounts payable (AP) reconciliations to ensure accurate vendor payments and financial records. • Perform intercompany and related parties’ reconciliations, maintaining accuracy in transactions and balances. • Review aging reports to monitor and manage accounts receivable effectively. Taxation and Compliance: • Act as the focal point for communication with external auditors, facilitating audits and ensuring compliance with financial standards. • Manage bookkeeping and data entry tasks, maintaining comprehensive and accurate financial records. • Prepare and upload monthly and quarterly tax declarations on the government portal, including withholding tax (WTH), value-added tax (VAT), and social insurance contributions, ensuring timely and accurate compliance. General Ledger Management: • Review daily bank balances to monitor cash flow and manage liquidity effectively. • Record daily general ledger (GL) entries, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial information.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. • 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles. • Ability to perform financial analysis and interpret data accurately. • Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques. • Understanding of cash flow management principles. • Completion of coursework in financial accounting, taxation, and auditing is preferred. • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP). • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
