GL Accountant Experience

Job Description

Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process Verify that transactions are recorded correctly in the day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger. Bring accounts to the trial balance stage. Perform partial checks on the posting process. Prepare and complete tax forms. Enter data, maintain records, and generate financial reports and statements. Handle accounts receivable/payable and process payroll on time.

Job Requirements

Solid understanding of general ledger (GL), basic bookkeeping, and accounting principles (A/P and A/R). Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial records accurately. Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy. Good understanding of finance and accounting principles Strong analytical and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel Oracle system experience is a plus. 2–4 years of hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting Experience in FMCG or Manufacturing sector is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting.
